Vascutek is one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and marketers of vascular products for the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
Founded in 1982 and based at a custom built facility in Scotland, Vascutek uses innovative vascular technologies to develop products that address the needs of cardiovascular and vascular surgeons throughout the world.
The company markets a wide range of sealed and unsealed polyester and ePTFE vascular prosthetic grafts for the treatment of diseased and damaged arteries. The grafts are sealed with a specially modified gelatin, eliminating the need for pre-clotting. Other products in the Vascutek line include Anaconda™, a minimally invasive device used to treat abdominal aortic aneurysms, BioValsalva™, a porcine biological valved conduit for aortic valve and root replacement and Rapidax™, a self-sealing ePTFE graft for dialysis patients.
Vascutek also has a dedicated UK manufacturing facility for our range of proven stented and stentless porcine prosthetic heart valves.
